Thomas Gamuel Primary School is committed to providing a high-quality education with the full participation and support of children, staff, parents, volunteers, friends of the school and the wider community. As a two-form entry, co-educational primary school, Thomas Gamuel was judged as “good” across all categories by Ofsted in October 2016.

At Thomas Gamuel Primary School, we believe that all children and students have the right to an excellent education in order to give them the best life chances irrespective of their race, colour, creed or circumstances. We have high aspirations for our children, staff and communities. At our heart of our school is a dedicated team of staff who are committed to being part of a school that is equipped to enable all staff and students to make outstanding progress.

Our school reflects the rich diversity of our locality and takes pride and pleasure in its many cultures, languages and traditions. Through our caring and stimulating environment, we encourage all our children to develop into active and considerate members of society. Each person in our school is special.

Although operating as part of the Lion Academy Trust, Thomas Gamuel Primary will always be a ‘community’ school. We aim to work closely with our parents, other schools and organisations, building partnerships which benefit, not only our children, but others in the wider community, both on a local, national and global level.
